How many times have you wished you had an extra bed or two when that unexpected guest arrives or your kids want to have a friend spend the night and the only spot open is the floor.

Worry no more! There’s an easy solution that ends up being useful in more ways than one, TRUNDLE BEDS! A trundle bed is essentially a small bed that fits underneath another bed which is usually a day bed but can also be bunk beds, as well as other configurations. The trundle is typically a twin size that does not have a box spring, just a mattress that sits directly on bed slats, or the bed frame, and is no thicker than 8”. The bed frame can have wheels which is easier to roll out and back under. Very compact when you’re short on space.

Most children’s bedrooms are smaller so a trundle bed is a good option. It’s out of the way leaving a more usable space for kids. Also, kids can’t shove things under the bed when they’re supposed to clean up their rooms.
